We opened in 1995 and have been proudly educating children for over two decades!
We have capacity for 32 children aged under 6 years. This makes us smaller than some other centres, and we feel it gives us the edge of being able to pay more attention to each child,

We believe that children are our future and that the foundations we lay for them today will greatly impact their futures. Therefore we strive to maximise their development and learning potential with a constantly changing daily program, that is designed with the current interests, strengths and weaknesses of each child in mind.

We believe in providing a service in an environment that works alongside families to support their children to grow into inquisitive, confident and independent individuals. We love receiving feedback from families about their child's learning experience with us and using it to better care for these children.

We are not just a child minding service! We are a fully accredited early education centre.
The time your children spend with us is time spent learning about the world in which they live. Children's development with be built upon the foundations families lay at home. We aim to prepare them for school and life beyond.

The time your children spend with us is time spent learning about the world in which they live. Children's development with be built upon the foundations families lay at home. We aim to prepare them for school and life beyond.
We love to expose the children to different cultures, languages and cuisines. We encourage them to learn to express themselves in multiple ways, through art, craft, dance and most importantly play. We do this though programs that are created by our qualified staff to stimulate the children using their senses - sight, sound, touch and taste (and even smell!) in order to develop physically, socially, cognitively, linguistically and emotionally.
Our staff
Our staff are a friendly, vibrant and well experienced group of educators who are trained in the care of children.
Our staff members are assigned to working with a particular age group. This allows consistency and stability for the children each day. We also maintain the required ratio of staff to number of children depending on the age of the youngest child in any given group. This ensures that each child has the level of supervision they need based on their age and abilities at all times whilst at the centre.
Our staff are more than happy to hear any concerns or questions you have regarding your child's time with us!
We also have a cook who prepares meals for the children daily.
Our office is run by the owners of the centre, Peter and Mona, who are happy to welcome any visitors to the centre wishing to enrol their children.
Our Resources
We have a fully resourced centre, with abundant toys and learning material catering to all ages and stages of development for children under the age of 6 years.
There is no shortage of books, art and craft materials, utensils, electronics and even sports equipment for the children to play with.
Of course we rotate our resources so children are presented with a variety of play and learning materials. However, if your child has a special interest in a particular type of play, we will allow them access to this even if it is not in the program for the day!
Our setup
A&M Happy Kids Childcare centre is built on a generously sized property in Merrylands, NSW.
Inside is bright and colourful, with good lighting and well ventilated. Our centre has air conditioning to keep us cool in summer and works to keep us warm in winter too!
The inside area where the children spend their indoor time is divided into two rooms, the Caterpillar's room for children under the age of 3 years and the Butterflies room for children 3 years and older. There is a cot room within the caterpillar room for babies under the age of 1 year.
Outside there are two separate play areas so that all age groups can enjoy the outdoors at the same time with age appropriate play equipment in their area. We have a jungle gym, a sand pit, lots of painting easels, water play, balls, and much much more!
